HUNCH Utility Desk

Objective: Redesign the HUNCH Utility Desk (HUD) to be easier to manufacture, or preferably be assembled using Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) parts with the intent for it be used on Gateway or Moon to Mars.

Key Features:

• Easily scalable in width for different aerospace programs and applications.
• Redesign the table for ease of manufacturing by reducing milling or Lathe operations by utilizing alternative manufacturing methods, such as a waterjet cutting.
• Simplified handrails to either be built into the table or utilize Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) items.
• Lower Weight / Mass of the table.
• Reduce the overall thickness of the table.
• Use aerospace approved materials.
• New built in seat Track
